To commemorate our 50th anniversary, we are re-releasing a limited-edition shoulder shopping bag that was once a favorite of our customers.

Starting October 9, 2026 (Friday), we will be providing this service to customers who purchase items at BEAMS stores nationwide and the official BEAMS online shop.

The shoulder shopping bag, created in 1986 to commemorate BEAMS' 10th anniversary, was loved by many customers not only as a shopping bag but also as an everyday companion for outings and school, thanks to its convenient drawstring closure for crossbody wear and its durable plastic construction that allowed for repeated use. The bag, with its vibrant orange color and BEAMS logo, is a signature BEAMS item that is etched in memory along with the "Shibuya Casual" trend of the time.

As part of efforts to reduce single-use plastic materials, it has been about five years since we stopped using them in 2021. As we celebrate our 50th anniversary, we have decided to reissue this limited edition product as part of our efforts to reflect on BEAMS' history and connect it to the future.

For this reissue, we have followed the design from the 10th anniversary (1986), when the globe motif first appeared in the logo, while using biomass plastic made from over 80% plant-derived materials (corn molasses). Even as we continue to explore ways to minimize environmental impact, we hope that by having people reuse this bag again and again, just like back then, it will serve as an opportunity to remember that using things you love for a long time is the foundation of a sustainable lifestyle.

We hope this bag will reach you as a cherished memory for those who have walked alongside BEAMS in the past, and as a new experience for those who are encountering BEAMS for the first time. While cherishing the culture we have cultivated together with our customers, BEAMS will continue to propose new encounters and enjoyment.
