A minute repeater using quartz, unlike anything else in the world.

Introducing the popular "Minute Repeater" model from CITIZEN 's flagship "Campanola" series.

The design on the dial is inspired by the ripples created when water droplets from a suikinkutsu (water harp cave) drip down onto the surface of water collected at the bottom of an underground earthenware pot.

The ripple pattern is created using a high-precision electroforming technique. A minute repeater plays the clear and deep tone of a suikinkutsu (water harp).

Pressing the button at the 2 o'clock position produces a clear, ethereal sound from the minute repeater that spreads like ripples across a moonlit waterscape.

*Minute Repeater
Enjoy a unique sound that aims to be gentle and soothing, just like striking a real bell. The time is played with high-pitched, low-pitched, and two different tones, while the alarm plays with three different tones depending on whether it's morning, noon, or night.

Equipped with a perpetual calendar, this model eliminates the hassle of manually adjusting the calendar for months with fewer days or months with fewer days, and leap years that occur once every four years, until February 28, 2100. Please come and see it in person at our store.
